In order to comply with our ethos and respect our planet, all orders placed on Lâcher Prise Apparel’s website will be carbon-neutral. Orders placed through Shop Pay are automatically carbon neutral. The bonus: all our packaging is recycled and biodegradable to make sure it reverts to nature.
How long will it take to receive a response to my email?
We try our best to respond to emails within 1-3 business days! During the holiday season, our response time may extend up to 5 business days.
Do you offer free shipping and returns?
For U.S. orders, we offer free standard shipping via UPS on orders over $50. All the other expedited options are also available at checkout for a fee. Unless you are processing an exchange, $5 is deducted from your refund for the cost of the return shipping label.
How long will it take for my order to be processed?
All orders are shipped from our studio in New York within 2-3 business days.

How fast will my international order be processed?
International orders will be packed and ready to ship within 2-3 business days of order placement. Business days are Mondays through Fridays, excluding holidays and weekends. International orders are subject to customs clearance, which may cause delays beyond provided delivery estimates.

What if I need to change my order?
If you see an error in your shipping address, the color of the items, or you want to cancel your order please email us at email@example.com as quickly as possible! If your order has not already been processed, we will do our best to proceed with your request. We cannot guarantee that we can make changes or cancel your order once it has been shipped. In that case, the carrier may allow the recipient to request a change of address before the package is out for delivery. We encourage you to get in touch with them.
What do I do if I am interested in a product that is sold out?
We recommend signing up for the “waitlist” for that style. We will send you an email once the item you are looking for becomes available. For specific inquiries, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I have an item in my order that I preordered. When will my item ship?
All pre-ordered items will ship when items are available to be shipped. The estimated Ship Date will be available in the product description. Please note that we allow a delay of 2-4 weeks from these estimations due to any Covid-19 supply-chain holdup. An email will be sent to confirm the shipment. Orders will ship ground in the US and via regular International Shipping methods.
Why can't I combine a pre-order item with other items in my cart?
Pre-order items must ship separately from your regular in-stock items. Please check out our in-stock items separate from your pre-order items in a separate transaction.
I received my order and an item was damaged.
Please email pictures, a brief description of the damage, the order number, and your shipping information to email@example.com. We will follow up with the next steps as soon as possible. Lâcher Prise will determine the best resolution and may ask to see a product in person before making a decision. Please note that Lâcher Prise is not responsible for normal wear and tear, such as staining or dye fading.

My order is a gift. How do I include a gift receipt?
As a default, we do not include any pricing in our packages. If you would like to add a gift message, you can do so in the shopping cart, before the billing and shipping page.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, we do! Our gift cards come in the form of e-Gift cards which are sent via email to whoever you wish to send them to! Gift cards can be purchased here, and are available for $50, $100, $150, or $200.
How do I order a gift card?
You can purchase a gift card via this link. You’ll need to select the amount you would like to put on the gift card and follow the prompts to complete your purchase. Your gift card will be emailed to the selected recipient within 24 hours of purchase. Gift cards cannot be combined with any promo code and cannot be purchased with a merchandise credit.
What shipping options do you have?
Customers are responsible for shipping fees. Shipping rates are calculated depending on weight and location.
We are happy to offer free shipping on all orders over $50 within the U.S. via UPS Ground, which generally takes 3-7 business days to arrive. Orders are shipped from New York City.

If your package has not arrived on the desired delivery date, please contact UPS or the carrier you selected at checkout. Please contact us at email@example.com, we will try our best to help you retrieve your order, however, Lâcher Prise is not responsible for lost packages.
How do I make a domestic return?
To begin, please send your request to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please title your email “Return Item(s)” with your order number. $5 is deducted from your refund back to your credit card for the cost of the return shipping label. We will issue the refund as soon as we receive the merchandise in hand. It can take up to 7-14 business days for your refund or credit to process. There will be an e-mail confirmation when it has been completed. Please note that any shipping or gift boxing charges are non-refundable. Lâcher Prise reserved the right to decide to reimburse or not, any return order. We will decide after further expertise if the clothes have been used or damaged.
What is your international return policy?
Lâcher Prise does not support pre-paid international return labels at this time. All international sales are final. Please contact email@example.com if you need further assistance.
What is your exchange policy?
We are unable to exchange items unless the items are defective. If you would like a different size or product, send us an e-mail at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Please place a new order and return the product that you no longer need. Once we receive your return item in perfect condition, we will issue a refund.
TAKE BACK PROGRAM:
How do I participate in the Take-Back?
We offer the possibility of sending your unwanted Lâcher Prise pieces back to us at the end of use, after at least 3 years from your purchase. In exchange we will give you a 30% discount on any item you wish to purchase from our website (*excluding our new collection).
What happens to these pieces?
We are partnering with GROW NYC to handle clothes drop-off. They are taken to a facility where they are sorted into different grades, with an effort to recover as much usable clothing as possible for distribution to second-hand markets. Material that is not suitable for reuse will go to recycling markets to be used as wiping rags or shredded for low-grade fiber products such as insulation. This way everything is back into the cycle.
How do I receive the discount code?
We will send you an email with the promo code as soon as we receive your piece(s).
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards. We do not accept personal checks, prepaid debit cards, or money orders.
Will I be charged Sales Tax?
Sales tax is dependent upon where you live and the items you purchase. All tax estimates will be messaged at checkout.

What is ShopPay?
ShopPay is a service that offers you the ability to make purchases now and pay for them in four equal installments, due every two weeks, without any interest.
How do I use ShopPay?
Just shop lacherpriseapparel.com and checkout as usual. At checkout, choose ShopPay as your payment method. You will be directed to the ShopPay website to register and provide payment details (Visa or Mastercard). If you’ve used ShopPay before, just log in to your ShopPay account. Then complete your order -- it’s that easy
How does the ShopPay payment schedule work?
Customers are required to make their first payment at the time of purchase. The remaining three payments are due every 2 weeks in equal installments and will be drawn from your selected payment method. If you would like to make additional unscheduled payments before they are due, you may log in to ShopPay to make your payments early. You can log in to your ShopPay account anytime to view your payment schedule or make a payment before the next due date.
Can I use Installments by ShopPay if I am an international customer?
Installments by ShopPay are only available to customers with a US billing address within the US and a US mobile phone number. Orders must be shipped within the US as well. Customers with international billing addresses will not be able to set up an account with ShopPay.
When will my items be delivered?
ShopPay orders are delivered as per our standard shipping time frame after you complete your order online.
What products are not eligible for purchase with Installments by ShopPay?
ShopPay is not available on purchases of gift cards or items on pre-order. If you are purchasing gift cards and/or pre-order items along with ShopPay eligible products, you will need to place two separate orders.
How do I return an item purchased using Installments by ShopPay?
If you have changed your mind, you can return your ShopPay purchase by mail for a refund. Please check that your return or exchange meets our Return Policy here. ShopPay will be notified of your return and will process the appropriate refunds. Please do not return your purchase to ShopPay.
What is Organic Cotton?
Organic Cotton uses 87% less water than conventionally grown cotton and emits 45% fewer greenhouse gases. Conventional cotton is also notorious for using more pesticides than any other crop in the world. The use of these chemicals has led to the hospitalization of up to 1 million farm workers every year. That’s some dirty talk we absolutely cannot get behind. By using Organic Cotton, we keep the people we work with and the products we sell safely. Better for your body and better for the earth.
What is Micromodal?
Micromodal is our DNA fabric, it is finely knit and has a soft and silky feel, inspiring soft, flowing designs that drape beautifully on the body. It’s lightweight and resists wrinkling (which makes it fantastic for travel) and holds its color after repeated washing and wearing.
MicroModal is a luxurious plant-based and regenerative fiber known for its exceptional softness and comfort. This semi-synthetic fiber is made from the pulp of beech trees. Beech trees are a self-seeding plant and a renewable resource. Our micromodal is certified from “LENZING™ to ensure the trees used in our fabric production are sustainably harvested and are not sourced from ancient and endangered forests.

Where is your product made?
The majority of our products are made in the US between NYC and LA. We have recently moved some of our production overseas while maintaining a strict ethical and sustainable supply-chain. Please check our factories and our traceability pages to obtain more information on our production line.
Are your factories fair trade certified and ethical?
Our factories are certified ethical and meet fair trade criteria. They are audited to standards for social and ethical compliances such as Sedex certification. Labor laws and minimum wages are always enforced. Ethical manufacturing is a top priority for us. Check our factories page for more info.
What materials do you use to ship your orders?
Online orders are shipped with recycled paper mailers from EcoEnclose that are recyclable and made in the US. Your garment will arrive wrapped in recycled tissue paper and an organic reusable gift pouch. We do not ship any branded materials other than the paper order confirmation slip to reduce our single-use waste.
Is your product vegan?
YES ! We only use natural, plant-based, biodegradable fabrics.
What is your tree planting program?
We are working with Ecologi ; an environmental conservation organization that helps us plant trees and track our carbon offsets every time we make a sale on our website. The trees are funded by individuals and eco-conscious organizations like us, who support tree planting through sales performed on their platform.
We wanted to create a pact with Mother Nature; by giving back what we have taken from her… For every $10 you spend on our website, we promise to plant one tree with Ecologi.

How do you choose the nonprofits you support?
Lâcher Prise is committing to positively and impacting changes on a humanitarian and social level. We worked with several different charities over the years including One Simple Wish (which fulfills wishes for foster children) during Christmas 2020, front line workers in NYC (during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in NYC), and following the Beirut explosion last summer we created a raffle to raise funds for the Lebanese creative community. Our goal is to support our community and people during an actual crisis.
